There you were, enjoying a beautiful day in the wilderness, until you have to pee. Now you've set down all your gear, hiked off trail looking for anything at all that can shield your bare butt, you're squatting with your pants down hoping there's minimal splash on your shoes and as your legs start to burn you wonder "now what? Do I reach around and gather some leaves, hoping I don't fall over and praying the leaves I choose don't have a weird fungus? Did I bring toilet paper with me to wipe with and then put.....where? In a hole? In my pocket? In a trash bag I also packed? Or do I just wait and hope my legs don't give out and no one comes around the bend knowing full well my "drip dry" isn't dry at all and I'll be spending the rest of the day in it."
Backcountry Lemon Drops can't fix the squatting or the lack of privacy but they make the entire process faster, easier and cleaner.
If all goes well the target launch date is early spring 2024.
On this website to start. After that, in your favorite shop where outdoor adventures are supported.
I'm glad you asked. I intend to regularly revisit a biodegradable option and hopeful have a viable solution to deliver. But for now, the company is just getting started and needs to focus on the easiest solution to bring to market. Second, the evidence is unclear on the success of biodegradable plastics and materials. For the time being, I'd rather clearly communicate the used product is trash than mislead users into thinking it will disappear into the earth overnight.
